Dit zijn twee boektitels die de shortlist van de Diagram prize voor meest merkwaardige Engelse boektitels aanvoeren. Er zijn dit jaar veel boeken met een gekke titel, voor de wedstrijd kwamen 90 boektitels in aanmerking, tegenover 32 vorig jaar.
Via The bookseller kan gestemd worden en de winnaar wordt op 26 maart bekendgemaakt. De eerste winnaar in 1978 was Proceedings of the Second International Workshop on Nude Mice. Vorig jaar won The 2009-2014 World Outlook for 60-milligram Containers of Fromage Frais van Philip M Parker. En oudere prijswinnaars zijn: If You Want Closure in Your Relationship, Start with Your Legs, en Greek Rural Postmen and Their Cancellation Numbers.
Recent verscheen overigens een boek over boeken met de vreemdste boektitels, is te lezen op nrcboeken.nl, met alle winnaars van de Diagram Prize; Do-It-Yourself Brain Surgery and Other Implausibly Titled Books, door Joel Rickett.
