Vooralsnog is het een gerucht, maar wel een gerucht verspreid door de man zelf: Eli Paperboy Reed komt niet naar Lowlands… Op zijn Facebook-pagina staat sinds vanmiddag het volgende:

Hey guys,

Unfortunately we are going to be unable to perform at the shows we had listed at the end of August in the UK and Europe. These include Lowlands Festival, V Fest and Liquid Rooms. In actuality these were never confirmed but promoters of festivals have a way of announcing things before artists actually give the say-so.

It is very costly to tour with an 8 piece band and unfortunately our flight costs for those 4 shows made it financially impossible to do them. I hope you guys understand I promise we’ll be back in your neck of the woods sooner rather than later.
